Winston-Louisville Career and Technology Students Earn Honors

Winston-Louisville Career and Technology Center students earned honors at the local competition held in Ackerman, MS. The Louisville chapter of FFA competed in both skills events and platform contests for their FFA Federation Contest on Friday, February 21, 2014, bringing home awards in all events entered. The chapter competed in five senior events: Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Creed Speaking, Tractor Operations, Arc Welding, and Tool Identification. At the end of the event, the group was awarded the following trophies: second place in Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Creed Speaking, and Tractor Operations – advancing to the Central District FFA contest on March 1, 2014 - along with third place finishes in Tool Identification and Arc Welding.
