Culinary preparing "Mother Sauces"

Culinary Arts students have been busy preparing various sauces, referred to as "mother sauces".

HOSA Students speak to Rotary Club

In honor of HOSA week HOSA President, Skyler Adams and HOSA Member, Laura Verry, spoke to the Rotary Club on November 18, 2015 at Lake Tiak O'Khata.  They talked about their student organization and about the Health Science program.  They also shared about their experiences at National Competition in Orlando, FL and Anaheim, CA.

Students from the Welding and Automotive Service programs toured the Career-Technical Programs at East Central Community College on Thursday, November 10th.  Students toured the programs and listened to presentations made by the instructors and were able to interact with the college students in the programs.

Students attend LEAD Conference

Culinary Arts Students and HOSA students from Health Science attending the LEAD Conference in on the MSU Campus on Tuesday, Nov. 3rd.  This one-day conference was sponsored by Generation FREE, Mississippi's youth-led tobacco prevention program for middle and high school students.

These students joined more than 250 youths from across MS to learn how to create a positive in their school and communities.  The students participated in several engaging breakout sessions to help further develop leadership, communication and team-building skills.
