MCEF Student of the Month

Brody Burchfield is a 2nd year student in Welding. He is a two-year member of SkillsUSA and will be competing in the Individual Welding competition for SkillsUSA this year. He has a 3.93 GPA and made a 27 on the ACT. Brody is a very active student at Louisville High School. He is the quarterback for the football team where he has served as Team Captain for three years. He has received AllConference honors for three years in football. Brody has also played baseball during his high school career and has served as Team Captain for two years. He received All Conference honors in Baseball for four years and was District MVP for 2012 & 2014. Brody has been a member of the BETA club for two years and is a member of Mu Alpha Theta. He serves on the LHS Student Advisory Board for 2015. He will graduate high school with 18 college credits by participating in the Dual Credit program. After the 2014 tornado in Winston county, Brody found time in his busy schedule to perform 40 hours of community service helping the tornado victims. Brody is a great student and is a leader in the classroom and shop. He never misses school. Not only is he the top student in the Welding Program, he is one of the top students in the Senior class at LHS.
